  Answers
1. What are the Custom FX?
The Custom FX Collection easily installs into Flair and Wild FX Pro. It includes customizable versions of the 400 effects that come standard with each program, plus over 200 additional effects. Each effect has at least 5 custom variables, including speed control.

The effects can also be used as templates to create new effects, which can be saved, so you can generate new effects templates without requiring any animation programming.

6. Do the effects work in Adobe Flash or older versions of Macromedia Flash?

Yes, you can use all of the effects in Adobe Flash or older versions of Macromedia. You just use them in 2 different ways based on whether the effect is a standard effect or a dynamic or custom effect. You may directly import the standard effects output and you can bring the dynamic or custom effects output into Flash using LoadMovie Actionscript. The standard effects and the dynamic or custom effects have different colors in the Wild FX menu-list to help you differentiate between them.

7. When I import the Wild FX generated swf file into my main movie it does not work, why?
You can't import a Flash 4 effect into Macromedia Flash. You can use the LoadMovie action. You can also get our software, Linx, which can import any Wild FX effect (and any SWF, image or audio file). It is a great way to combine Wild FX effects and to add images and audio.

9. How can I change the background of the effect?
Wild FX has the ability to add any image file as a background to your effect. You can also do that in Macromedia Flash or in our software, Linx, which can import any Wild FX effect (and any SWF, image or audio file).
