"Verdict:
A cheap-and-cheerful approach to Flash,
but the sheer power it offers is exceptional,
as is the price. |
Flair offers everything
you need to produce impressive results.
In particular, it brings together the core
features from a whole host of applications
- Adobe Flash Professional, Microsoft PowerPoint,
Articulate Presenter, Sorenson Squeeze
and Adobe Captivate - and at a fraction
of their cost, especially at the heavily
discounted introductory price. That's extraordinary
power and value."

"Flair is one of the most unique and useful presentation programs. It combines the media and animation features of Flash with slide show formats commonly found on programs such as PowerPoint. Simply put, it is a presentation tool that creates Flash and video presentations, can convert PowerPoint to Flash in three simple steps, and can also author demos and tutorials or generate presentation quizzes. The best part is that you need no prior knowledge of Flash. You simply work with the GUI to do everything."

"This is work I used to hire someone to do and it was intimidating just
watching, but after an afternoon just playing
around with this software I am coverting PowerPoints to Flash and authoring
interactive video." |

"Flair is one of those larger than life products that presents an editor a real challenge to include all of its great features in one review. This is an incredible program that will help even beginners look like multimedia presentation professionals... |
The folks at Wildform have gone out of their way to provide every imaginable tool to help you get started and produce incredible presentations for virtually every audience, whether on the Web or in the boardroom...During our review, we found ourselves being impressed time and time again. Not only is this an exciting product, but the way it is presented on the Web is also exciting. Few products, from the largest of companies, have a more impressive set of examples and tutorials to help both the new and seasoned user to hit the ground running and become productive in such a short period of time."

"Finally a program that allows for wild PowerPoint presentations.. Company reps often show their products to journalists and customers through really
boring |
"PowerPoint" presentations. It doesn't have to be that way. A jazzy
PowerPoint presentation is devoutly to be desired and we've just discovered
how to do it: Use Wildform's Flair."

"Having experienced the steep learning curve of many Flash animation packages it was a pleasant surprise to see just how easy Flair was to use. Its wizards cover almost every aspect of the program making even the more complex tasks incredibly easy." -- Norman Harris, ITWales.com |

"I
really liked the PowerPoint to Flash output that
Flair created -- it even took all the
web hyperlinks in my original PowerPoint presentation
and retained them in the final SWF export. And
the output SWF was a mere 87 kb in size -- that's
much smaller in size than what any other PowerPoint
to Flash converter can do! And yes -- Flair
is so much more than a PowerPoint to Flash conversion
tool -- it also includes an entire Flash authoring
environment, and screen capture abilities. In
all, this is a great product." -- Geetesh

"Flair is a powerful multimedia creation and presentation software solution allowing you to quickly produce |
|
| |
|
and present professional looking presentations for the web, “big-screen” or disc. Wildform has worked very hard and done a very admirable job to walk the ease-of-use vs powerful-features tightrope. With the explosion of web-based video Flair is a great solution for getting your presentations and videos on the internet without the need for programming." -- Jay Delp, Technologies for Worship Magazine |

"Flair from Wildform is a the best application for creating Flash presentations we've ever seen. Great for product demos, training videos, and sales presentations. |
The software makes it a snap to knock the socks off your audience. The text effects and animation potential of this software is limitless. It's really a full-blown presentation powerhouse that allows you to create sophisticated Flash movies without knowing Flash. No sweat, no geek, just slick presentations that can't be beat." -- Derek Pell, Dingbatmag.com. |

"The word "presentation" for many designers immediately conjures up visions of tedious, excruciatingly ugly PowerPoint sessions. |
However, while part of Flair's core functionality is indeed converting PowerPoint files to Flash format, primarily for posting on Web sites, its capabilities go beyond that by allowing users to create sophisticated Flash and video presentations, as well as demos, tutorials and simulations. These more ambitious applications can be created due to such functionality as the ability to record on-screen activity; PowerPoint file editing in Flash, including templates; conversion of video presentations to Flash; video and audio capture; and animation and interaction capabilities. Flair can thus serve as a way for site designers and multimedia producers to offer yet another service to their clients." -- Chris Dickman, Graphics.com |

"Flair preserves PowerPoint animations and interactivity and the
final versions are editable Flash files, which I find very intriguing. |
My
first presentation allowed me to click through the slide "builds" of a Flash
version that was a fraction of the original file's size. Since Flash is
ubiquitous and plays in almost any browser, this is great...Screen capture
is a simple matter of going through a simple wizard to configure the capture
utility. Another window lets you configure your audio; you can narrate your
PowerPoint using a microphone and adjust volume levels which will result in
a fully playing show with synchronized audio from the presenter. Very
cool...You could use PowerPoint slides or the elements in Wild Presenter
itself to create other types of web or CD ROM projects. For example, it took
me about twenty minutes to create a simple web banner using many of the same
assets I originally used for the PowerPoint slide show...Another nice
benefit of the program is that it also supports export in the elusive *.FLV
Flash video file format, using the latest compression codecs. So it has a
multitude of uses...Flair is a good deal, especially when you
consider some extra plug ins that come with the program that will enable you
to export video and audio in other formats." -- Tom Bunzel

"This program is amazing...Flair allows you to develop and produce your own multimedia presentations without the need for expensive training. It accomplishes this with relative ease and simplicity, requiring little computer knowledge to create professional Flash media. In fact, their online tutorials and training videos are exactly what all programs should offer: With just one viewing of a particular training video you can easily produce your own professional presentation. In my opinion, this is a "must have" program for anyone wanting to create Flash projects with ease and professionalism."
