Installing
with Firewalls or Proxy Servers |
 |
 |
| |
Wildform
software requires an active Internet connection
to electronically register your software. On-line
registration helps us focus on providing the quickest
possible technical support turn-around time to
our customers as possible.
Usually, the registration process is seamless and
requires no user intervention. However, users accessing
the Internet behind corporate firewalls and/or
proxy servers may sometimes experience difficulties.
This guide will help you set the proper properties
on your MacOS 9 or MacOS X system. |
 |
 |
| |
 |
Configure
your proxy server settings using the Network panel
inside the System Preferences application. First,
select the device that you need to use the proxy
server with (most likely Built-in Ethernet), and
then click the 'Proxies' tab. Just enter your proxy
server address in the 'Web Proxy' field and you're
all set. |

Just
launch the control panel and select the 'Advanced'
tab and then scroll down to the 'Firewalls' section.
If your Internet control panel doesn't have an
'Advanced' tab, simply select the 'User Mode' menu
item located in the 'Edit' menu and then choose
'Advanced'. Enable the 'Web Proxy' and set your
settings. |
