| Introduction |
 |
| This
tutorial will help you create a teleprompter
using WildPresenter. WildPresenter contains many
features that are not covered here. Instructions
on how to use these features are located in the
Help file of the WildPresenter program itself.
We also offer numerous tutorials on how to use
WildPresenter in the tutorials section of our
web site. |

are several ways you can create animated text
effects with WildPresenter. You can use the text
effect wizard, you can use the create text effect
menu, or you can simply use the insert text effects
button. For this tutorial we are going to use
the insert text effects button. |
 |
 |
 |
| Type
your text in the text field of the main tab. |
 |
 |
 |
| Changing
your font attributes and font color |

We
will now change the font attributes and color.
We will change the font to Microsoft Sans Serif,

Six: Sizing your text effect |

We
will now size the text effect to be the same
as our project stage.
Open the Object Settings window; in the Appearance
tab adjust the Width and Height in the Transform
Options section. |
 |
 |
 |
| To
center your text over the stage use the Horizontal

| To
preview your teleprompter click the play preview
button. |

 |
 |
| Step
Seven: Playback |
 |
Now
that our teleprompter is functional we want to
add a couple finishing touches. We don’t
want our project to start playing automatically,
so we will include a click to begin playback
feature. We will also include one the many players
available with WildPresenter.
To insert the click to begin playback feature
open the Project Settings window. Select the
Flash SWF tab and in the ‘Start of movie
options’ section select the ‘Click
to begin playback’ button. |
 |
 |
 |
| To
include a player select the Players tab in the
Project Settings window. In the Player skin options
check the ‘Include player when exporting’ box.
You may choose any of the players listed, to
preview the player click the View skin button. |
 |
 |
 |
| Play
controls will only work to rewind to the beginning
because of the way this scrolling text animation
is generated – they cannot be used to ff
or rew etc. |

 |
| Step
Eight: Export your Flash file |
 |
There
are many ways you can export your effect. You
can click File then Export File, use the shortcut
CTRL+SHIFT+E, or click the “Export File” button.
Click the "Export File" button. |
 |
 |
 |
| At
the Export File box you may change file name. |
 |
 |
 |
Click
Save.
You can then play your “teleprompter” file
while you are recording a voiceover or video
presentation in another project.

 |
| Conclusion |
 |
| We
have now covered everything necessary to create
a teleprompter with WildPresenter. You can do
much more with WildPresenter including adding
images, audio, and even video. Other tutorials
will cover these subjects. The WildPresenter
help file also addresses these topics. |
