LMS Output: This is the LMS (Learning Management System) option drop-down menu. You have the choice to add LMS output to your quiz.
Wildform Flair supports:
SCORM: Scorm (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a collection of standards and specifications for web-based e-learning. It defines communications between client side content and a host system called the run-time environment (commonly a function of a learning management system). SCORM is a specification of the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative.
- Scorm 1.2: Scorm 1.2 was the first version with a real conformance test in the form of a test suite. It uses the IMS Content Packaging specification with full content manifest and support for metadata describing the course. It also allows optional detailed metadata tagging of the content objects and assets described in the manifest.
- Scorm 2004: Scorm 2004 is the current version that is based on new IEEE standards for API and content object-to-runtime environment communication. It includes the ability to specify adaptive sequencing of activities that use the content objects and the ability to share and use information about success status for multiple learning objectives or competencies across content objects and across courses for the same learner within the same learning management system. It also has a more robust test suite.
- AICC: The Aviation Industry Computer Based Training Committee (AICC) standard dates to 1988, and has been used as a standard for Computer Based Training since that time. While it was created by the Aviation industry, it has always been intended for use across all industries.
Both SCORM and AICC allow Learning Management Systems to support a diverse set of content. Virtually all LMS platforms support one or both of these standards.
Default frames per slide: Here you can choose the number of frames each slide of the quiz will occupy on the Presenter timeline. This option can be used to help add frames to your quiz in order to synchronize it with other elements in your Presenter project. The default is 10 frames which should be fine for most applications.
Note: If you choose to add LMS options to a quiz in the quiz creator DO NOT use the LMS options in the Export Settings window - only use the LMS options here. The LMS options in the export settings window are to add LMS features to presentations that do not have quizzes. |

| Template |
 |
| The template section holds the templates available for creating a quiz. You can use one of the existing templates, or you can edit a copy of any of these quiz templates to create a new quiz template. (You cannot edit, delete, rename or change any of the standard, default templates that come with Wildform Flair. All changes must be made to a copy, which then becomes a new template.) Choose a template of your choice. |

From the Customize Template page you can customize your quiz by changing styles, colors, fonts, size, background the way the quiz works and the features that are displayed. Click the Save button to save your customized quiz. |

| Branching Options |
 |
|
 |
There are a number of options that you can add for what you want to have happen based on whether a user passes or fails a quiz (this will not apply to surveys).
- Percent of correct answers required to pass: Here you enter a passing score (in percent).
You can apply the passing options in the "On Pass" tab and the failing options in the "On Fail" tab.
-
Open HTML page: When selected, this option will cause a webpage to open. Then you will need to enter a URL in the text field. Open HTML page opens the HTML you specify in a web browser (as long as the viewer is connected to the internet). If you wish to specify a browser target, either enter one or select from the drop-down list of most common. The browser target tells the file in which browser to open. The default is for the link to open in a new browser window ("_blank").
-
Load Flash SWF Movie: When selected, this option will cause a Flash SWF file that you specify to play. The specified Flash SWF will open in the target Flash SWF that you specify.
In the Flash SWF field you specify the name of the Flash SWF you want to load. You must enter the relative path to where the Flash SWF file is located for any Flash SWF file that is not located in the same directory as the main "parent" Flash SWF that is loading the specified Flash SWF. By default the file is placed in the "Load External Files" folder and the path name to the SWF is in the "Load_External_Files" folder.
In the target field you specify the object you want to load the Flash SWF into. The name of the object is the same as the name that appears in the "Name" field at the top of the Object settings window when that object is selected. You can only load a Flash SWF played with Preload Load External File play modes. If you load a Flash SWF into a Flash SWF that uses Stream play mode, it will replace the main Flash SWF - the entire project. If you want it to replace the main Flash SWF put "_level0" as the target.
You can use the "Browse" button to locate a specific Flash SWF.

| Publishing Your Quiz |
 |
Wildform Flair's Quiz Creator will export all the files you need to distribute your project.
Base files required.
For people to view your project you will need at least the project output SWF that you created.
HTML file to post your project on the Internet
If you wish to post your project on the Internet you may want to export:
- an HTML file which you can export from the HTML tab of the project settings window
- the .js active content fix file to be included with the HTML file (which alleviates any Flash problems in IE browsers)
Projectors for standalone distribution and CD-ROMS
If you wish to distribute your project as a standalone projector (which is perfect for CDs) you will want to export one or more of the following:
- Windows, Mac and Linux projectors which contain both your output and the Flash player. These files can be exported in the Output tab of the Project settings window.
Files required for LMS
- If you have set your output to use SCORM or AICC, the output HTML file will have additional code automatically added to it.
- If you use AICC an additional folder labeled "Scripts" will be created in your project folder. This "scripts" folder will have 2 files cmi.js and behCourseBuilder.js. To use AICC you must also include this folder with your output.
