| Introduction |
This tutorial will show you how to add audio to your Wildform Flair projects. You can, of course, import an audio file and add it to any slide within a Wildform Flair project. But this tutorial deals with adding audio that goes over your entire project (as opposed to an individual slide within a project).
Wildform Flair contains many features that are not covered here. Instructions on how to use these features are located in the Help file of the Wildform Flair program itself. We also offer numerous tutorials on how to use Wildform Flair in the tutorials and online training sections of our web site. |

| SWF Audio Box |
| To simply add audio to a project (that will play over a multi-slide project) open the Export Tab of the Settings Window and select the SWF tab. Check the ''Project audio'' box and Browse to the audio file. If you want the audio to loop check the ''Loop'' box (loop requires SWF audio). |
The audio you add using this option will start at slide 1, frame 1 and play through your project.
You may add audio as either a SWF file or an MP3 file
- SWF: If you use SWF audio the audio will preload and it will be embedded in your project. SWF audio can be looped.
- MP3: If you use MP3, the audio will stream and the audio file will be in the "Load_External_Files" folder. You will need to distribute the "Load_External_Files" folder with your project. MP3 audio cannot be looped.
If your audio file is not in SWF or MP3 format, use the importer to convert it to SWF. |

| Exporting your project and reimporting it |
| Another option for adding audio to an entire project is to create your project and then export it (File>Export File). Once you have exported your project it will exist as a single SWF file. You can then reimport this SWF file into a new Wildform Flair project. Then import the audio you wish to add to your project (File>Import File). |

| Synchronizing Audio with Slideshow |
If you want to synchronize audio with a slide show so the audio starts and stops exactly on specific frames, a few more steps are required. There are several ways you could do that. Here are two examples:
1. Export your slideshow one slide at a time and then re-import it onto separate slides.
When you export you are asked whether you want to export all the slides. If you answer no, only the slide you are currently on will be exported. To export your slideshow select File>Export File |
| You will be asked to select the range of slides to export. Check the "Export as separate files" box. |
This will export the just the slide you are on at that time.
Once you have exported all the slides in your project, re-import them into a new Wildform Flair project and place each slide on a separate slide in your new project. To import a file select File>Import File. |
(Quick tip: if you want to automatically import multiple objects and have them all placed on separate slides, select the multiple objects and drag them all simultaneously into the Wildform Flair interface. Wildform Flair will ask you if you wish to place them all on separate slides. If you click ''yes", Wildform Flair will do this for you automatically._
Add the audio using the option in the SWF tab of the Export Tab in the Settings Window (as shown above). Then change the duration of the various slides to fit the audio exactly.
To change the duration of a slide open the Slide Tab in the Settings Window. In the Navigation section select the Timed button and choose the timing of the slide. |
2. Export your slideshow one slide at a time and then re-import it onto one slide.
Export the slide show one slide at a time (as described above).
Once you have exported all the slides in your project, re-import them into a new Wildform Flair project and place them all on separate layers of the same slide.
Next import the audio file you wish to use (as either a SWF file or a supported audio format that Wildform Flair will convert to SWF).
To import a file select File>Import File.
Place the imported audio file on a separate layer in your project.
Once you have imported the slides, you can change their duration by changing the ''Keep last frame for" option in the Play tab of the Object Tab of the Settings Window. Simply place the slides on the timeline where you want them to play and adjust their duration until you achieve the look you want. |

| We have now covered the basics of adding audio to your Wildform Flair projects. You can do much more with Wildform Flair including adding images and video. Other tutorials will cover these subjects. The Wildform Flair help file also addresses these topics. |
